Video Gamers from Rhode Island?

javascript:replaceText(' ;D')Hi.. I am new to the site... and looking to make a few new friends up in the Rhode Island / Southern Mass Area.  I heard about the thing going on in Boston, which is awsome.. maybe a few of us from RI should do something like that here in RI.

javascript:replaceText(' ::)')I have lived in Providence all my life (thus far.. I am 27) ...and never came across anybody as much into video games / emulators / roms.. as myself....I figured maybe some die hard gamers would come out the wood work...if I posted this.

I am currently putting together a mame cabinet, from my 3rd computer...it is  a 1.3 ghz AMD, 784 mb ram (PC100), ata 66 100 gig hd, nvidia genforce 4 64mb (svideo out), cybervision c92 (19 inch for the monitor).  I considering a arcade x stick for 2 players.  I am a huge 2D fan of capcom / snk fighters... right now I am using the magic box for a controller port.. I like the Playstation 2 controller the most with mame right now, till I get the x-stick.

lol, buddy and his hairpieces...  despite all teh corruption, it is amazing how well they reinvented downtown providence...

(i live in CT and occasionaly bop up route 6 to PPmall for some fire and ice and Dave and Busters...
