Well see the thing is here, What started off as an arcade cabinet, has turned into "Oh, I don't have the room for the arcade cabinet, let's just build the sticks because I already bought them." So i'm making these sticks widely accessible, going to my xbox, ps2, and pc for that matter. So it's not just going to be into the computer itself, so I can't rely on that power source alone :(

You're going to need an auxiliary source then.
If you can find out how much current everything you want to use (sticks, trackballs, spinners, etc...) will draw, give it at LEAST 25% for headroom, and you should be good.
Then you can pick up a power supply from Radio Shack, or wherever, and power it all.

Yeah, we figure on the power source. But that's why I was asking, if anyone knew how much current the 360's drew. All that's going to be in these sticks onw are just the 360's and the buttons, now we're going to wire them up to a PS controller.. The PS2 controllers have varying voltages inside so we can't use that for power, but the PS1's supposedly have a standard voltage. But we'll see, the point is. Anyone know how much current the 360's draw? :)

You can't use a ps2 pad,not enough power.P360 draws +5 so use a ps1 dualshock pad and  you are good to go 8)

Did they end the sale? I thought it was going to last until 7/31/04 ??

Looking at http://www.happcontrols.com/index.html?http://www.happcontrols.com/wp/item_search.html?item-no=50-6083-50! I see a price of $45.95

This isn't the sale price is it?

Damn. :(

Well, I would call and check. Looks like they redid the subpage for that joystick, and the joker doing it might have forgotten to put the new price page in. ;)

The price did not update for me, is this an error or is the sale over?

I had to call customer service and order mine over the phone. They honored the $24.99 price so I bought 2 of them.

Should be here next week. :)

Don't count on it. Mine has been backordered for 2 weeks now.

Oh well. No biggie for me as I am just starting my project this weekend and have a ways to go before I start working on my CP.

I own 2 super's in my cab and have a question about these:

- the problem with my supers is that they are super sensative.  If I hit to the left and let go.  A left, right, left is registered (as the joystick is bounced back and forth!)  Will these joysticks be the same?

- Will they mount in to the same holes as my supers?

Most of the time no. If you pull full diagonal, I tend to get a left right out of it, but it's rare I actually let go of the stick in a corner. Why are you doing it? :)

Yes.

Well,

when I'm in MAMEWAH and I press down, it registers as down, up, down!  So I changed the MAMEWAH sensativity.  But what about the MAME sensitivity!?
