Why Me?!?

Either I can have the Windows/Mame32 GUI stable and not the game, or I can adjust the arcade monitor once the game is loaded, but when I exit back out to select another one, now THAT screen is vertical hold-less!  Standing there holding that damn v/h-pot panel is really getting old FAST!  There has GOT to be a better way........

(Hint:  This is where guys come in....ahem.....this is NOT a rhetorical question)
