What do do with this Xevious cabinet.
« on: May 28, 2004, 07:44:58 pm »
A buddy of mine wants to seel a xevious cabinet for 40 bucks, the cp, marquee, monitor and everything else have been removed, I was wondering if i could convert it to a mame machine and keep all the orginal art etc etc, problem is xevious has a vertical screen and I dont think a horizontal monitor (which I want to put in the cab) will fit, is it possible to keep the sides, save the front and back panels for some other project and then add my own in? or is there another way around this problem.

Thanks for your help

There are very few classic cabs that won't take a 19" monitor in either direction. Measure the cab, if it is at least 18" wide (which it is, probably 24.5"), then it will take a horizontal monitor.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I know a 17" pc monitor fits just fine horizontally in one of those with the original bezel in place.   ;D
