AWESOME cocktail cabinet for sale
« on: May 28, 2004, 01:11:47 pm »
I'm clearing out some items to defray the cost of new rims & tires for my truck.  Here's an AWESOME cocktail cabinet with plenty of potential for an incredible MAME machine.  I had been saving this for my personal cocktail project, but will let it go because I've been addicted to modding my truck lately.

I wish I had found this cabinet before building an oak cabinet from scratch and before also using an Atari T-cocktail table.  This table has it all -

plenty of space inside, swing out top and sides for easy access (mount the motherboard inside the swing out side)

large coin door (keep it or customize it for access to drives, etc)

large control panels -  keep them or build your own and install - or mount X-Arcade controllers on each side.  Both existing controllers bolt on thru the back into the cabinet.  So mounting new controls will be simple.  You can see the 8 mounting bolts in one of the pics.

There are plenty of pre-drilled button/joystick holes under the existing plexi, so the configuration you want already exists.  Mount your controls and get artwork and new plexi and you're done.

A 21" monitor can fit inside with no problem - go larger if you have a bigger monitor.  Plenty of viewing space thru the top glass.

Speaker grills exist at the bottom of the cabinet - so just mount your speakers inside and you're done with sound.

Cabinet is solid and you'll probably just want to freshen up the paint for a mint look.  I'll include your choice of new white or chrome T-molding as well.

Email me if interested.  It's going up on eBay shortly, but I'll sell it offline to someone here.  I just want a quick sale either way.  Pickup in Toms River, NJ 08753 or I can proivide shipping thru Yellow Freight.  Feel free to use your own shipper as long as they come and get it.

Looking to get my $100 back.  It just went on eBay, but I'll sell it offline if anyone here wants it.

I see it has a board in it, what sort of board is it?
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Hot Shots Tennis.  I bought it for $100 just to use for MAME.  You can play Hot Shots in MAME and it's one of the better tennis games.  Quite fun, check it out.
