Im looking into starting a MAME project and would like to get a gutted cab to start with. Anyone have something they'd be willing to part with for a reasonable price in the DFW area?

Check Super Auctions. They have regular auctions in Mesquite. You should be able to get a "dead row" machine pretty cheap.
I have changed my nickname to "Cakemeister". Please do not PM the Buddabing account because I do not check it anymore.

Please read the wiki!

Super Auctions doesn't have any posted dates for Mesquite just yet, but it's always just a matter of time. I've been to two of them, though. They're alot of fun.

If I hear about anything I can point you in that direction. All my best leads have been here, though. You may want to try local arcade operators. They've always got a warehouse with empty cabinets or at least a couple route machines they wouldn't mind parting with. Unfortunately, they may ask for more than you are willing to pay. Not all, but most (I know I'll catch something for saying this) seem to hoard their crap like it was gold cuz they know sooner or later some collector is going to pay them more than it is worth - essentially a beat-up old wooden box.

It wouldn't happen to be a cocktail, would it? That's what I'm looking for as my next project.
