Anyone interested in .250 Lug Cherry Microswitches
« on: May 24, 2004, 09:03:18 am »
All,

I'm considering getting a large order of .250 lug Cherry microswitches  (Since Bob Roberts doesn't carry them).  I use MiniPacs for my cabinets and I'm tired of crimping the .250 connects to stay on the smaller microswitches.

Would anyone be interested in buying lots of 10 for $8.00 shipped within the USA?  I would take Paypal if that helps.

Let me know.

Thanks,
Todd

why not just use the smaller disconnects?

or does the minipac cable come with .250 disconnects and thats where the real problem is?

Bingo.

Though I use .250 disconnects and have rarely had to crimp, except on leaf switches...?
What was that again?

Sure he does.  They are in his "Dollar Store" about halfway down the page.  Here's the description:
Two D44 Cherry Switches - .250 Terminals
Item DS140

I don't know if that helps or not, but I thought you would be interested.

Malachai:

Thanks for pointing this out.  I think Bob must be out of these because when I asked him if he had any .250 tab Cherry Microswitches, he said:

"Sorry... only have std micros with .187 tabs."

I'm ordering from Betson instead.

bigmoe:   I've had some trouble with the .250 disconnects coming loose on the .187 tabs so I've gone to crimping all of them.  I'm rethinking this on my new cab so I'm ordering the .250 micros.

I'll take a couple lots if you end up ordering them.

Look. This... is all a mistake. I'm just a compound interest program. I work at a savings and loan! I can't play these video games!
