Improve blocking/diagonal on Happ supers?
« on: July 28, 2002, 11:06:24 pm »
I've been playing with my new cab for about 4 days now and some of the people that have used it complain that both joysticks have poor registration on the left/down diagonal position (blocking down on fighting games).

I thought I remembered reading a post here a while ago on how to imrprove this but I can't find that post now.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

TIA.

The diagonals on a Super are less responsive if you have the small side of the hourglass-shaped actuator toward the base.  If you are already set in 8-way mode (big end of the actuator toward the base), then check the levers on the microswitches.  The levers could be bent, causing them to be less responsive.
