Cause it's not finished yet?

A box of parts is harldy an example. Allthough I think many (most?) cab builders are still on that stage ;D

You can announce the start of a project on the Project Announcements forum.

How did you submit it?

I agree with Patrickl; you may want to be a little further along before you submit it.

so works in progress are not welcome?

how about all those examples that don't load....or those that have 1 page with 1 pic up that are on the examples page?

I wanted mine to be posted, so that I can see if it's worth updating a website at the same time as building it.

Did you try submitting it as News?  That seems to always work.

It's there now :)

First time back in April there either wasn't any content or I couldn't get to the site. When that happens, I flag it and check it periodically. Looks like the second submission was yesterday, and it is sometimes a few days before I get around to approving sites.

I'm happy to post sites that are works in progress, very rarely is there a 100% completed cabinet. Generally though, I make a judgement call as to whether there's really anything there or not. A few projects have a splash page but nothing eles, and those generally get flagged to check later and don't get approved. After 6 months or so, if they haven't changed, they get deleted.

That's a general statement, I don't recall why your site didn't get approved right away.  It could have been down, network congestion could have been a problem, or there may not have been enough content to look like there was anything there.

At any rate, welcome aboard!

There are NO 100% completed cabinets.

There are just cabinets currently owned by people who didn't set their goals high enough.  ;)
