Hey guys, it's been a very long time since I've been on the board. I built my machines years ago in the very early days of MAME/BYOAC and have since moved on to other interests (Miatas) but I'm back for a slightly off topic question. I'm in the middle of building a lightweight race car and I'm using 1-player (start) and 2-player (horn) arcade buttons in my dash. The problem is that the buttons sometimes stick. On an arcade machine that could be a pain, on my application it means that the horn sticks or my starter gets burnt up. I've soaked them down with some silicon spray but that didn't completely fix the problem. Does anyone have any really good ideas on how to keep them from sticking? These buttons will be exposed to lots of sun/heat. I really want to keep the arcade buttons (both are brand new) in my car because I'm a gamer at heart but if I don't find a solution I'll have to scrap the idea. Thanks!
