I have 4 brand new Happ Supers that I bought for a project but never used them.

No, I did not know that Bob sold them that cheap. I verified your claim and you are correct. Bob Roberts charges $6 shipping so I will match his shipping price and lower the cost of the joysticks to $8 each if anyone is interested.

Recapping, I am now selling the above brand new joysticks for $8 each and a flat $6 shipping for any quantity.

they do... that's a plastic sleeve that's covering 'em in the pic (I assume). YMMV

its not the sleve..the clones i got is $HIT....it still works and all but dont feel right.not as good as original happs.

Snaaake, I'm curious, are you taling about the joysticks that I emailed you about i.e. the ones with an exposed metal shaft that are slightly taller than the Supers?

If you are then what is the problem with them? On previous posts you said you liked them, and they look pretty cool from the pictures.

I never actually bought any myself because the Ebay guy kept either ignoring my emails completely, or sent a reply that didn't actually answer my questions.

well...they are not that great..they look very cool to be honest.but trust me..they are not as good as the original happs supers.and also i cut 2 layers of wood underneth my joystick to get the right height but now its too tall.over all not perfect experience..after all i wanna be able to play.
these joysticks are okay but i am willing to get new onces.i am very very picky about this kind of stuff.so probley just me.anways i hope the guy who is selling supers is still alive.

I don't mind the clones I got, but ymmv... (the x-arcade ones) I really wanted ultimarc t-sticks but didn't have the bread....

I agree. The joystick affects gameplay more than any other component so I don't think you can be too picky.

If the only problem with the clone joystick is the height then why don't you make a wooden spacer to fit between the joystick and the underside of the panel?

seriouslly i do not have a clue.its not as good as happs.
also anyone here thinks if it has anything to with the micro switches?
games are still playable but i like my comp better then anything these days.they work so nicely that i am totally shocked.supers used to be like the best.

who knows

i still got my old panel so i am using that for now until i get newer joysticks.

Have you tried fitting Super handles (or maybe the Super clone handles) to a competition base? According to a previous thread which I started this can be done.

Also have you considered the T-Stik? It looks just like the Happ Super but has a stronger spring and a shorter throw.

since it cought my eyes,
he only had 4 sticks and i got them all for $35.

i am not trying to make you feel bad

but he claims that he dont have anymore.

i wanted more so i can make sticks then ebay them.

also found out somethin horrible.

my chrome joysticks were perfect.its the height that wasnt perfect..i gotta route another layers in the bottom to fit the supers.man hate doin the work....

i got 2 super joysticks for sale if anyone wants it..

So which is best out of the standard Supers and the chrome joysticks?

In an earlier post you said the chrome joysticks didn't feel right - maybe dodgy microswitches. Now you're saying they're perfect.

me too confused..

they did not work right..
now i routed another layer and works great.it uses the same hub as the super joysticks and its the same handle except the chrome has no black sleeve and the handle is little bit longer then super handles.

i mounted the joystick wrong from the begining

i am just too lucky

my cpu melts,monitor breaks,i mount joystick wrong...

I can get Supers really cheaply elsewhere.

However have you got any of the chrome Joysticks for sale? In a previous post you said you were going to buy 30 of them from JU707. I've tried buying from him directly but he ignored half my emails (always a bad sign), and then gave me a ridiculous shipping quote.

Alternatively do you know anywhere else where they can be bought? Does it say on the packaging who makes them?

I really like the appearance and extra height. Also I'd like to avoid routing if at all possible.

i ended up installing supers because i am not afraid of anything.

you can get the chrome i have.

it was too high when i routed the bottom so dont route anything and you be fine.

$20 for both and whatever shiping comes up.

Ideally I'd like to buy three. However if you've only got two then that's ok.

Please go for the cheapest shipping available, I don't want insurance or anything, and I don't mind how long they take to arrive.
