I don't think I've ever seen a 2.25" inch translucent ball. I'm sure they exist, but never seen one sold as a trackball ball. You might want to look for billiards balls (same size). Just a thought.

Actually, in the end I ordered a clear w/glitter pool ball from Paramount Industries. It only cost me 13.50 including the shipping.
Works great. And I like the look. You'll have to forgive my crappy digital camera.
