Has anyone checked out the arcade parts at x-arcade.com. Are they any good?

X-Arcade.com has some joystick and buttons pretty cheap. How do they compare with Happs and others? Are they just cheap buttons themselves?

NAH man..they are super joysticks and horizontal buttons from happ..they are not cheap..they work perfect..but if you make your own.you will get it even cheaper...otherwise great!!!

Wow, Snake, you made your own joysticks and pushbuttons?  That's pretty impressive.  I would still rather buy mine, tho.  

The parts for sale on X-Arcade's website are really just Happ parts.  They claim that the joystick is custom for their controller, but so far the only difference that anybody can tell between their joystick and the Happ super is the X-Arcade logo on it.

thanks for the info guys....I saw that they had the joysticks for $5.95 which I thought was cheaper unless I've missed a few websites and it doesnt appear that you can get different colors as well . If I wanted just BLACK then maybe it might be ok...thanks

Ya see, retrogamer asked about the joysticks and pushbuttons that X-arcade sells, not their X-arcade controller.  Joysticks are the black plastic things with shafts and microswitches. So when you reply and say that he should make his own... I'll let you fill in the rest.  

retrogamer - The Super joystick is only available in black no matter where you buy it from, X-arcade, Bob Roberts, Happ...
If you are looking for other colors, try the Happ Competition.  Not many people have good things to say about the Happ Ultimate joysticks.

Ummm.. Snaake, try not to be such an ass man, I mean you seem cool, but you're really hostile on every post you ever make.  Anyways, I'm not flamin nobody, so I get your question retrogamer, and yeah, I've seen that they have way cheap joysticks and buttons, but I'm pretty sure their not actually Happs supers and ultimate pushbuttons, I think they're custom made and made to not be as good as ordering from happ, since they're going to try to be making their X-arcades commercial and in stores and shiznit.  I'm not sure though, since I don't own one, but I can't think why the hell they'd sell em for so cheap ya know, because you'd figure they'd be loosing hella profit even if they were buying their Supers in Bulk for that cheaper value.  I'm sure you can email em yourself though, because they probably have a help line, since they want to make money, so just write them an email that says something like "I was wondering if the joysticks you use in your X-arcade are from Happs Arcade Parts, or if you guys have them custom made.?"
   -I'd personally go with Happs joysticks, since they're definitely going to give you what you ask with no strings attached, but I've heard also Bob Roberts has some excellent parts as well, although I haven't ordered from him.

dont try to make fun of people man!!!....i thought you were to make fun of me by telling him to make the buttons..that will be impossible at any cost..so why bother making fun of what i wrote..C'mon...everyone makes mistakes..besides i am not even american so my english aint all that great..but i am still working on this.also i got some super joysticks clone from ebay..$20 for 2..its working just like super joysticks except you dont have the black shaft and you have control over how high you want(i love these sticks)..unlike supers from happ which is horrible when you mount on 3/4 wood and have a piece of plexi.but this clone i got had height adjustments.the guy who i bought it from is willing to sell for $10 each direct without ebay hassle..so anyone want any contact me..i can get some pics then post here later on..they are great joysticks for cheap.if anyone wants over $30 then he will make it $8 each...

Grasshopper - Yep, you certainly caught me on that technicality.    I should have said that the Super was only available retail in black.    The last time I emailed IL regarding placing an order, their reply was that they didn't sell to the public.  Now if you have a commercial account and can get us some non-black Supers, please post a message and maybe a some of us can go in on a group order and save some $ on shipping.  It might be worth looking into.

                     i know happ super are height adjustable.but not enough..i used to have serious problem with the damn supers,in the other hand plexi is a must for any panel...then i sold the whole panel for like $200...then made another one...the seller is basiclly not listing any because i told him i would buy all the joysticks from him..he got like 30 sticks...give me your VALID email address so i sent the pictures...for now you can go to sirpoonga's page or scott's unicade..those are the same joystick i got.email me then i will reply with pics..thanks..
