There will be one less sticky within a weeks time.  I just wanted the NE guys to be able to see the thread.

Actually...perhaps I better UN sticky it.  I know that I actually breeze over the sticky stuff, as I've seen it all before.

What's the big deal?  I'll bet they keep the newbie quesitons to a minimum.

Like Peale said, it's pretty easy to just skip'em.

Actually, there should be a sticky with links to all the cool threads, like making your cheap bezel, making the nasty spinner, the Star Wars yoke, mounting your monitor and the like.  That way when somebody comes up with a cool project that helps everyone, instead of sticking that topic, just add the link to the one already there.

Now THAT"s a great idea!  And lock the topic too, so it doesn't get a lot of extraneous posts.

I second Oldskool but with a twist.  Call it "FAQ's" forum

Actually, these should be locked and archived, with links from the main FAQ (you know, the FAQ?  The thing that originally brought us all here?)

I think you'll find this better.  I've stickied ONE topic, and put other topics of interest in quicklinks in there.

I did it for you.

Hey, we can always un-sticky it.  Non-destructive fun!

I'd like to sticky my caboose to the couch....can a mod help me out with that?  Oh, and put a "Do Not Disturb" post up so my wife will know that serious "research" is going on.

I like it.  The stickies were getting out of control.
