FS: Gravis Multiports and controllers
« on: May 05, 2004, 01:32:38 pm »
I have a connection to a load of Gravis Multiports and the controllers that go with them.  The multiports can be used as a gameport splitter or used with the controllers that come with it (up to 4 controllers at one time).   Hacked, this could give you a lot of options if you do not have the $$ or desire for a keyboard encoder.  I understand they DO NOT WORK IN WINDOWS XP.  I would assume the same would also be true for Windows 2000 and Windows NT because NTSC machines are jerks who hate fun.  However, these DO work in Windows 98, 98se, 95, and I presume they would work in Me.  Also, they are supposed to work in DOS and Linux as well.  The supplier has a crate full of them and would be willing to wholesale the whole lot at a discount or sell them individually.  Let me know if you want in; he has set no price for a rig, but he is not asking for too much.  Contact me and I will get you in touch with him, this could be the answer for you.
