Stacking Ultimarc I-PAC / J-PAC / Opti-PAC boards
« on: April 28, 2004, 07:46:25 pm »
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience stacking any of the Ultimarc interface boards.

I have a J-PAC and an I-PAC2.  When I ordered them, I was under the impression that they could be stacked when mounted.  However the boards are different sizes and the mounting holes don't line up.

Which if any, are capable of stacking?
Hantarex Polo 15KHz
Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 2GB (GCN)
GroovyMAME 0.197.017h_d3d9ex
CRT Emudriver & CRT Tools 2.0 beta 13 (Crimson 16.2.1 for GCN cards)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Intel Core i7-4790K @ 4.8GHz
ASUS Z87M-PLUS Motherboard

I don't know that they can be stacked.  I'm pretty sure they are all different sizes.  They can be daisy chained together so they all work off the same port on your PC but I've never heard anything about physically stacking them on top of each other.

J-PAC can't be stacked too easily as the board is a different size.

Well there you go!  Still don't know why you'd bother as they aren't that big anyway but it isn't my cab I suppose.....
