Hi All,
I'm not sure if any of you have this problem but it has to do with the wires breaking off at the Quick connects. It's happened a couple of times now. I am using .22 guage stranded wires (7 wires per strand) and .167 quick disconnects. I crimped and soldred the ends (belt and suspender approach). I have to swing the control panel up to access the keyboard which exposes the wiring. Are the wires breaking because I crimped too hard? Is it the solder joints making the connect connection weaker? Is anyone using a different approach tpo wiring? I think the next control panel I make will be bolted down with a slide out shelf for the keyboard instaead. Maybe this will help. Any idas would be appreciated.
Cheers!
Garry
