Fultra Spinner/Knob question
« on: July 23, 2002, 05:59:59 pm »
Hi. I have a Tempest Cab that was converted to a Shadow Dancer. I was going to try and restore it back to a tempest, but it's hard to find an XY Monitor and all pcb, etc...So I was thinking of restoring the cab, & putting a mame machine inside and use it to just play Spinner games, mainly Tempest. What I need is a tempest spinner. I see Fultra has the knob, but what can I use this knob with? Oscar Spinner? Fultra Spinner or???

Also, anyone know all the games that use just a spinner/buttons?

Thanks!

What 'hole' does the spinner have?  Circle or D-Shape?  If it has a circular hole then it should fit an Oscar Spinner.  I don't know about the Fultra spinner, but if they sell the knob I guess it fits their spinner.

To find all games that use spinners, go to www.mame.dk and search for a game you know uses a spinner (eg Tempest).  Then click on 'Details' and scroll down to the controller section, then click on the 'Dial' part.  This will then find and display all spinner games.

Fry?...Fry?...  :)
