Maybe these?

http://www.vanhorn1.com/catalog1617.html

I don't think they change color to music, but instead pulse/flash to the beat.

Light Organ (AKA Color Organs) are circuits that take an audio input, spilt it into differnt frequency ranges. Most often 2 to 5 "channels".  Each channel will control a light, or sting of lights and make it pulse/flicker to the sound.

You can make your own circuit:
http://home.maine.rr.com/randylinscott/jan99.html

Buy a kit:
http://www.hobbytron.net/3_ch_IC_color_organ.html

Do a search on the internet for "color organ" you will find a lot of sites and options.

Real Life.  Still a poor substitute for video games!

good description ErikRuud

I will take a picture and post it up here sometime this weekend.

Btw ErikRuud the kits you posted the links to don't have the proper front plexiglaa...unless I missede it on the site.

Ed,

Those were just two of the first sites that came up.  They are only for the circuit itself.  Color organs do not always come with the lights and plexi that you are thinking of.

I bought some 2 channel color organs f 4.95 each to use in my Halloween display.

Sorry for the delay guys. Most of my posts have been via my phone. I haven't been home to really work on my cab. I've been working on a film and we just finished lol for the 3rd time. Hopefully the studio will like it.

and by all mean Eric post your pics. I'm actually not going to get that after taking a better look at it.

Is it an indie film ! ..... if so  can I get a copy .

My cousin does indie films here in Boston she's done 3 (actress) and has turned me on to them.

We recently got an indie  station on our cable  system there was one that I watched the other day that was pretty good but was filmed in black in white. I wish I could have gotten the name but I missed the first 10-15 minutes .

Talk to you soon

doh I have sabotaged my own post  :o

Actually its as far from indie as you can get. It's Wes Craven's new horror film. It was pretty silly stuff, but it should be fun.

Be sure to post your pics.

And where can I purchase sunbeam tech products?

P.A.

Basically I'm in charge knowing where the actors are, making sure everyone on the crew knows what's going as far as the shot, setting the background actors etc.

Wes Craven is really great. Very down to earth and laid back. The movie should be out by October.
