Question for the Experts
« on: April 24, 2004, 10:01:33 pm »
I was wondering if you think it is possible to mod a Gamecube controller and hook it up to an arcade steering wheels and petals like the ones sold at Happ Controls. From these controls I would hook the controller into a Gamecube. I understand that such a direct link may not be possible and other parts may be required.

Is this possible? If so any leads on where to start in finding out how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as having a place to start would save me much time in testing.

Thank you in advance to all of those with helpful reply

I'm not an expert on either gamecubes or driving controllers but have you taken a look at these GameCube driving controllers from Logitech?  It seems like a lot less work than spending a lot of money trying to hack your own and possibly ending up with something less than optimal...
