Looking for Tron Handles

Looking for one red and one blue Tron handles. Saw this at 1UPArcade but got no response when contacting Tom, the person who was making them:

Tom appears to have stopped make the tron handles or the balltops.  I don't think anyone heard from him for a while now.  Too bad as I really wanted a couple more translucent balltop sticks.

There were talks of someone else making the handles, but I couldn't find the thread and don't remember who it was...search for Tron Handles

I wish he hadn't decided to get out of the business.  He and I had been talking about molding the Tron cocktail sticks out of blue translucent plastic like the uprights.  We were all set to go and I emailed him saying I was sending my original red sticks to be molded from.  I got a reply from his wife saying he was in the hospital and that he wouldn't be doing the plastic stuff anymore.   :(

Very sorry to hear about his wife. I wish the two of them a speedy recovery. When things like this happen, the first thing to go are pet projects, hobbies, and small ventures.

As far as the handles go, I want these so bad that I would make my own mold if I knew anything about plastic. One day, after I have built all my dream cabs, I may even research the subject enough to do it. Until then, if anyone wants to pick up the ball on this one, count me in for a purchase of a red and blue version. Actually, I think I'll get a poll started about this. Maybe someone who has the knowledge and the resources may give it a go.
