Hacking a Interact V4 Force Feedback Wheel
« on: April 22, 2004, 11:55:52 pm »
I was wondering if anyone has any infomation about hacking one of these.  It has no support for win 2K/XP and is just collecting dust in my closet.

The sad thing is the wheel has a real nice feel so I was wondering if anyone had hacked one of these to work with a console Xbox/PS2/DC or an Optipak.

Or if anyone has any information about hacking controllers and what to look for so I can look into it for myself.

Thanks for the help

It will not connect to an Optipac as it uses pots, not optics.

If all else fails you could wire it up to the gameport, as discribed here: http://www.gunpowder.freeserve.co.uk/wheels/wiring.htm
