Quick Wiring Question ... PC power-up
« on: April 20, 2004, 09:43:19 pm »
The picture below shows a jumper connected to the (PowerOn) pins of an Intel Desktop Board. This picture was taken quite a while ago, and unfortunately I wasn't doing the wiring job on this project!

Now for the life of me ... I cannot even wager a guess as to where the other end of these wires are. The setup was a JPAC, Intel MoBo, and a Std. Jamma Harness.

I know for a fact this was not wired to any sort of makeshift button, or actual power-on feature.

The entire setup ran a DOS system, and was powered using only 1 switch...monitor,pc, speakers and marquee.

Any ideas where this wire could have lead?

Thanks ...
