Word to the wise, if you are hanging a 20" computer monitor in a cocktail cabinet, make sure the whole enclosure is properly supported before you try to "test fit" it.  Maybe this will make someone feel better today that it wasn't their monitor :)

Ahhh the dreaded hiss. I got that sound in my old van when I was returning a fixed WG monitor for a client. Had to stop quickly on the highway the monitor tilted onto the neck-board and I heard it.SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. And the next thing my passenger heard would not get past the word filters here :)

Ah.

A couple of years ago, I had just finished repairing (bad transistor), and recapping a TM 202G that had no screen burn. I had the monitor sitting on top of a cocktail. The next day I knocked a fan over onto it and vented the tube. =(
