Word to the wise, if you are hanging a 20" computer monitor in a cocktail cabinet, make sure the whole enclosure is properly supported before you try to "test fit" it. Maybe this will make someone feel better today that it wasn't their monitor

Ahhh the dreaded hiss. I got that sound in my old van when I was returning a fixed WG monitor for a client. Had to stop quickly on the highway the monitor tilted onto the neck-board and I heard it.SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. And the next thing my passenger heard would not get past the word filters here

Ah.
A couple of years ago, I had just finished repairing (bad transistor), and recapping a TM 202G that had no screen burn. I had the monitor sitting on top of a cocktail. The next day I knocked a fan over onto it and vented the tube. =(

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.
