Those gigantic Atari ball tops with the Atari Logo on the ball are stiffer than hell and use the same bolt pattern. Guaranteed to give you carpal tunnel in about half an hour.

Some wicos balltop leafs are really stiff too, but not all of them, depends on the condition of the grommet and spring.

What?s the stiffest joystick I can get that uses the Happs hole pattern? I am currently using ultimate?s and they are just way to loose?.. How are the comps in comparison?
Is there any way to make these stiffer?>
Thanks!

Dan

Dan,

I have two recommendations.

1) Buy the heavy spring for the ultimates from Bob Roberts (they are $1.00 each).  This will make them more stiff and save you some cash.

2) Buy the Supers with Heavy Springs from Bob Roberts.  I have these in my cabinet and they are quite stiff.
