What is this thing? (Typing of the Dead)
« on: April 15, 2004, 02:10:57 pm »
I found this because I like Typing of the Dead:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=13716&item=3286768635&rd=1#ebayphotohosting

Any ideas on where such a thing as this might have come from?

The cabinet looks similar to other Japanese cabinets, so my guess is that this is the Japanese version of the game. This line from the eBay description "... The word will be shown in Japanese and alphabet with each monster. ..." also seems to indicate that as well.

I'm not familiar with this game, though it seems to me like this would go over better in Japan than here in the US.
