Question about Golden Tee
« on: April 09, 2004, 11:00:39 am »
THis is NOT a post asking for roms, my question is geared towards whether they exist or not.  Looking through my list I seem to only find Golden Tee II, but no others, have the others not been ported yet?  or am I just missing them or is there a different emulator to play those games?

I don't necessairly need it, was just wondering if it is out there.  If it is I will spend some quality time looking.

There is a version on the PC which I believe is similar to Golden Tee Golf '97.  I think this is as close as you'll get to the ones currently in the arcade/bar.  Ebay is probably your best source to find the game.

if you want a more up-to-date golf game Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 works with trackballs and the game rocks.  A ton of depth and better graphics than even the newest Golden Tees in the arcade.  You can create your own guy and build him up...it's a lotta fun.

I don't know about the tiger woods game since I've never played it, but on the GTG pc version the only thing you need the keyboard for is entering your name when you break a record.
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

about the roms.

The exist.. And there is a fully working driver out there.

but the author has not submitted it.  And probably wont.  Still making money and swapping the harddrive on the oldest will let you run much newer versions.

So don't expect a driver anytime soon.

You can play Tiger Woods 2004 with a trackball and 2 mouse buttons.

As for Golden Tee PC, download the demo.  Most people (myself included) can't get the game to run under Windows XP.  I guess there are some ways to increase your odds, so do a search if you want the specifics.
