Yup, its mine. ;) If it has an octagon-shaped yellow handle, with the SNK "double S" logo on the top, it is the exact controller.

Other things to look for:

- On the bottom of the rotary part, is should have the "double S" logo and "SNK Group" written on it.
- Black microswitches
- Yellow microswitch mount
-  13 pin rotary harness
- rotary housing is half black, half light green.

Thanks!

that's a nice auction since it looks like there's a druin's interface with it.

CRAP CRAP CRAP. I re-read the auction and see that it looks like the interface comes with it. I added more info to it, explaining the mixup.

My digicam is broken, and I have no way to take pictures, so, I used the only photo on the net of a LS30 rotary. :(

They Do Not include the black round shaft-hole covers as seen below! The below image is for refrence only, but does show the exact SNK stick (and interface board).

Crap!

btw... very misleading if the card doesn't come with it.

Brand New... the joystick goes for about 20 bucks (I got mine for 15 bucks a piece...)...

So does it or does it not come with the controller?

No, the interface board does not come with the joys (as the auction states).

You are bidding on a true SNK 12-way rotary joystick SET (2), including both (2) wiring harnesses
Quote
********* IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ ********* After re-reading the ad, it might seem like the joysticks come with a rotary interface for a PC. They do not. They come with the origional 13-wire harness that hooks them into a rotary-joy board. YOu can buy the interface that will work with mame here: http://members.rogers.com/druins22/ls30/ for a nice price. (If any bidder want their bid retracted because of any misunderstanding there may have been, please email me ASAP and I will cancel it for you!) ********* IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ *********

Where can you buy brand new SNK joys for 20 bucks? Im sure everyone would love to know the source, Id pick a few up myself.

I though there were rules against thread poisioning anyway?

No thread poisoning.  Thread poisoning occurs when a person comes into a thread and posts something contrary to the spirit/intent of the thread.

Example:  The link you posted for the 27" monitor for $400 is more expensive than this link for the same thing for $350...

www.videoconnection.com used to sell them for $15 new.  And I got a free 'key' when I bought two.

I haven't checked their prices recently.

its www.videoconnect.com and they are 40$ a piece (new)--I'm not sure how long ago you got yours for $15 but it must have been some time.  last price i remember them having was $29.95.  Whoever won your auction ($25  ea.)got a fair price IMHO.
its better to not post and be thought a fool, then to whip out your keyboard and remove all doubt...

Glitch,

Lilwolf wasn't trying to poison the thread, I remember when they were $15, (but it's been a long time, and I knew they were currently $40).  Also the quote you posted is highly out-of-context and implies that posting a cheaper price in the same thread is a no-no.

Here's the relevant points you left out of the quote -
