Spy Hunter II controls?
« on: April 02, 2004, 02:39:17 pm »
Hey... I am looking for info on the controls to a bunch of games.

To start off with... what are the controls to Spy Hunter II

How many buttons where there and what were the functions of them.

Please correct me if I am wrong:
- Steering wheel
- Double joysticks with what looks like 3 buttons on each stick.. 1 trigger and 2 other.
- Gas pedal
- Shifter with 3 gears (was it a vertical shifter sequence?)
- Was there a start button... or whas that one of the fire buttons?

Here's a better picture from Smitdogg's archives: (Converted to .jpg to reduce filesize)

Actually dual yokes with what looks like Assault handles on each one.

No joysticks, but I think each yoke has a trigger and thumb button on each handle.  These probably match the four weapons buttons in the original.

- Gas pedal
Dual, AFAIK

Looks like it.

Red button on the panel says Start Button.

In the original they were:
Machine-Guns, Oil Slick, Smoke Screen, and Missiles.
