Easy driving game cab?
« on: April 01, 2004, 10:40:37 pm »
Stumbled upon this tonight, thought it might be worth mentioning...

It's for the PS2 but I'm sure it could be reworked for mame use.
Might be an easy way to make a driving cab IF it's not too expensive.

It looks nice, but real sit down arcade cabs can usually be found for very little money. They have downsides though, they're big and heavy, take up lots of room, and the majority of them aren't made to sit in for any real length of time.

That said, there's nothing like playing Spy Hunter or RoadBlasters in their respective sitdown cabs. ;)

Ya that's what I was thinking, I could never get a real driving cab down my stairwell  >:(

This thing looks VERY comfortable and light...you could easily build a removable shell around it.
