Is there any way to hide windows 2000 booting screen and the rest of the screens up to the loading of the frontend?

There's a tutorial on how to change the 2000 boot screen here.  I haven't tried it myself though.

I have done this and it turned out quite nice.  The main thing you have to remember is that the image you use must only be 16 colors.  Also keep some boot disks on hand in case you run into any problems that prevent your system from booting up.

Did it to my work PC -

It now says MICROSOFT WINDOWS 2000 PROFESSIONAL...

One word of warning when building a Mame cabinet, hook up the controls LAST!!!  If you don't, it will probably take you 3 - 6 additional months to finish the cabinet.  -JustMichael
