Steering and Flight Stick
« on: March 31, 2004, 11:01:36 am »
Well, after much debate. I have decided to build my own steering wheel for my control panel.

Next... Flight stick...

I havnt seen much conversation about flight sticks. Is there a particular stick that is good to hack and place on a cp?

There probably hasn't been much discussion as they aren't many games that use a "flight stick", and for those that do a standard PC flight stick would work fine (as it's analog).  This guy here, simply mounted a PC joystick in his cabinet.

If you need a digital flight stick, you can try one of the hacks to put a flight stick handle on an arcade joystick base.  See Oscar's example here.
