Happ spinner How much?!?!???
« on: July 17, 2002, 09:52:31 am »
How that spinner can be priced $128 is beyond me...

It can't be...it's a joke isn't it??

Just look at the exploded view:
http://www.happcontrols.com/images/90/95093100_exploded.gif

Now the opto-pcb alone is $18 (see elsewhere on their site), so they wanna make us believe that a couple of plastic wheels, plates, bolts and screws cover the remaining $110?????

Jeez...if someone is willing to buy that he should be placed in the same mental home as the people that run Happcontrols...

They can have the room next to mine.  Yes, I bought one about 2 years ago, and it just does not have a good feel to it at all because it uses friction rather than a fly wheel to "control" the spinning.  I scrapped it and bought an Oscar spinner for a LOT less, and I've been a happy little inmate ever since.   ;)
