Check out my controller adapters for hooking up modern game system controllers to your PC USB Port! I also have Xbox USB Keyboard adapters for playing MAME, and linux enabled systems. Also, the PS2 to USB (dual and single) controller adapters work great for Dance games like Stepmania!

I have a new Playstation 1/2 USB to PC controller adapter that supports a LOT more features, and is better construction than the old PS/N64 adapter. (And is the same price)
