i just downloaded this and the webpage is sorta short on documentation.  what are the advantages to using it rather than the official mame32?  I've been playing around with it and a lot of my roms don't work with it.  I've heard that it is optimized for AMD processors...true?  So someone please explain all of this to me.

I know, I still need to get around to the documentation. Anyways, there are more features and more games supported. And any ROMs that work with the official MAME 0.80 will work with the newest versions of No Name MAME. And as for the AMD optomizations, those are optional, I did not add them in, however if you wanted, I could compile one for you.
