His last post was on March 07, 2004 and his site has been down since about that time. Anybody have any idea what happened?

I've tried to contact him, but no reply. The entire project apparently just dropped off the face of the earth.

I wonder if any of the people who signed on to be beta testers ever heard anything?

We think alike! I'm still going forward with an LCD project on my cab, but hopefully the LAME project will rise again (I want an attract mode for my buttons, dammit!  )
