FS ViewSonic VP230mb 23.1" 4x3!!! LCD
« on: October 26, 2025, 11:53:19 am »
I have a fairly rare item to sell that I think only BYOAC members could appreciate.

ViewSonic VP230mb 23.1" 4x3 (!!!!) LCD screen. This is the largest 4x3 screen ever produced. I've never seen another one for sale even on ebay. It retailed new for $2100+ and was marketed to professional graphic and video editors. 1600x1200 resolution!

Screen is in excellent condition. Zero dead pixels, etc. No dark spots or any type of color fading anywhere. Viewing angle is good. Refresh rate is really nice. Super sharp. Any smudges or streaks you see on the screen in the pictures are just a result of me not cleaning it. Screen is excellent.

I came across this screen locally years ago and intended to use it for a MAME cabinet someday but never got around to it. I figure it would throw it on here because I bet someone in the BYOAC crowd could make good use of it. It would be ideal for anyone who wants a 4x3 screen but in a cabinet that is too shallow for a CRT.

It weighs around 40lbs! so shipping cost might be kinda rough.

As I have never seen it for sale, I have no idea the value of this. If you are motivated and want it just shoot me a message and we'll work something good out.
