hantarex polo keeps ticking after replaced components
« on: Yesterday at 02:51:19 am »
Good morgning everyone,

I need some help with a Hantarex Polo 25-inch monitor. I bought a spare monitor for my arcade. The problem when i bought the chassis was horizontal collapse . I replaced R167, which didn't look good and was very out of tollorance.

When I turned the monitor on, the image was larger, I heard a whistling sound, and the monitor stopped.
When I measured the HOT it was shorted.
what did I do? I measured the diodes according to Randy From's diagram they are oke. I replaced C172, C174, and C175, and replaced the HOT transistor.
I did the lamp test B+130 volts.
Then I turned the chassis back on, and it started ticking again.

Then I added another flyback that worked fine, with the same result ticking

At this point, I'm not sure where to look.

Any tips?

regards tim
