JVL Vortex 1GB or not?
« on: September 11, 2025, 07:07:04 pm »
Hello
New member here so forgive me if I created new topic incorrectly. I have been a visitor of the site for years but until today could not get my account verified. John got me all fixed up so Im finally official.
Im more active in the slot machine world (NLG forum) but I occasionally work on arcade or touch screen counter top machines.

I recently acquired a JVL Vortex and upgraded to Itouch 11, right away I noticed I basically have the same number of games as 10. I read the topic below and gathered that if I created a 1GB drive I would have more games.

If I am allowed to ask, Is the best approach to get a CD and create a 1GB CF? Or is there a disc image readily available to create a 1GB drive? Moderator, please strike if necessary and/or modify phrasing. I have read a lot on this but honestly still a bit confused about the best approach. I have older versions of Windows and I am computer literate.

Thanks again for all the help you have given when I wasn’t able to express it.

Chris
