New PS1/PS2 Wireless lightgun
« on: August 18, 2025, 01:18:11 pm »
It looks like there's another new lightgun offering for, I believe, any display-type, which appears to be using a similar technology to the recent KS "plug and play" unit.  But this time, it's a plug and play gun for the original PS1 and PS2 consoles.  If it works well, it might be a decent option for those who still have those systems and games and the wireless aspect will be a nice extra.  I get the feeling it won't be too long before we see a PC version along the same lines, but this one may actually be more hack-able for that use case than the other.  Time will tell if the "juice will be worth the squeeze" with either of them, but it's interesting to see the renewed commercial interest in supporting the genre.
