Programming-Remap IPAC 2 Help
« on: March 08, 2004, 05:24:18 pm »
Hello,
I have the old IPAC 2 and I can not seem to get it to re map buttons. I have tried changing the jumper to ALT. And running the WiN app. but it keeps saying FAILED! NO IPAC CONNECTED. I think i need to start from square one.

1. any one have a pic of exactly how the jumper should be set. maybe i have it wrong?

2. software using is  WINIPAC v1.0.16 is this correct? according to the web site it is.

i tried the dos version no luck just locks up. (i am using xp). and have tried slowing down the settings where its the speed it sends info to the ipac.

I have checked their msg board but nothing helped :(

anyone advise? I would appreciate it

well I went into options and since my board is older than Aug 1, 2002 I hit old. Now it tries to update buttons but keeps saying FAILED! Adjust download speed. I have tried every one... none work..

any suggestions?

I had a similar problem. I then realise that I was using the wrong programming software. To be sure that there is no problem with the I-PAC, simply set the jumper to mame and see if it works. If it does ... you have a problem with the programming software you are using, if not, you may have a short ...
