I really enjoy the PSM/30 stick by Industrias Lorenzo. Some of the arcade machines I used when I was a kid had this stick. But it's not only a matter of nostagia. This stick is fantastic because of how precisse it feels, with a short throw and a strong spring that makes it return to center quickly and with stifness. The only problem I found is ergonomy. The handle knob is too small in diameter. I would really like a bigger handle that is easier to grab and feels better. The one on the magnetic shifter by IL, for instance, is perfect. Unfortunatelly the shafts are not compatible. Some time ago I took one of the PSM/30s I have at home and cut the plastic, removing the knob and exposing the shaft. Now my idea is to 3D-print a handle for it. The shaft is 3,5 cm high and 9,9 mm in diameter. Should I leave the internal hole at that exact diameter or leave 1 mm free if my idea is to add glue so that it doesn't turn freely when I grab it?
