Help with game name.... :/
« on: March 07, 2004, 11:33:48 pm »
I seem to remember playing an arcade game back in the mid nineties or so...it was a two-player tank sit-down deal, and each player had two joysticks, each controlling the tank's treads. I remember the game was setup as a tournament, and the graphics were pretty impressive. Does anyone recall what this was called? I haven't been back home in years (returning to IL soon tho) and would love to know if anyone's seen one around. Thanks...

It doesn't use 2x joysticks, but this one sprung to my mind:

This is crazy...I hadn't seen since around '95 in Illinois...and a few weeks ago I get deployed to Arizona, and there the damn thing is, in a Burger King of all places. It's T-Mek, and it's already got a few dollars outta me. :P

FYI - T-MEK has been MAMEd, but not fully.  It's in the ROM list, but it's listed as "Not Working".  So hopefully someday it will work.

Well, in Yuma at the moment, and then onto Vegas in a few weeks for about a month.

Anyone been to the Gameworks in Vegas? Never been to one, I"ll prolly have to spend a buncha money there. :P
