xinmotek re-map
« on: October 09, 2024, 05:15:30 pm »
I have a two player cabinet set up. All of a sudden my player 1 joystick won't move to the right.  I swapped the part with the microswitches over to player 2 and it worked.  So I eliminated the switches as the problem.  Then I swapped the wires on the encoder, and still I got no movement to the right.  That eliminated the wiring harness.  So I guess something is wrong with the encoder.  I notice some unused pins on the encoder.  Can one of the unused pins be reprogrammed to "P1 Right"? Thanks.

AFAIK Xin-Mo encoders can't be reprogrammed like an IPac or Arduino.

Try connecting the joystick right microswitch to one of the unused button pins and remapping it in the emulator.
