Help Needed: IPAC2 Gamepad Mode Greyed Out on WinIPAC V2 Software
« on: September 12, 2024, 12:16:58 pm »
Hi everyone,

I知 in the process of setting up an arcade machine and need some help with my IPAC2 board. I知 trying to get it to function as a gamepad, but I知 having trouble. The option to switch to gamepad mode in the WinIPAC V2 software is greyed out, and I can't change it.

Has anyone else run into this problem or know how to fix it? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

In the image you posted, it shows that your board is currently set to keyboard. (mode 1)

Have you tried switching it to a gamepad Dinput mode (2 or 4) or Xinput mode (3 or 5) before launching WinIPAC?

Mode Switching: Hold Start1 and this button for 10 seconds with no other key activity.
- Start1+P1SW1 --> Mode 1 (Keyboard User Set)
- Start1+P1SW2 --> Mode 2 (Dinput Preset)
- Start1+P1SW3 --> Mode 3 (Xinput Preset)
- Start1+P1SW4 --> Mode 4 (Dinput User Set)
- Start1+P1SW5 --> Mode 5 (Xinput User Set)

For more relevant details, go to the Multi-Mode tab on the IPac2 page.
