I am updating my control panel with 2 IPAC 4 interface boards. I see where there is a firmware update to do this with the IPAC Ultimate. I read it can be done but can't find a file or instructions on how to do it.

i think I figured it out. Just do one board at a time and it should work. You don't need to update firmware on the IPAC4.
