Windows Joystick Calibration Issue
« on: August 12, 2023, 11:22:54 pm »
Hi team,

I have a sega ghost squad light gun hooked to my pc via uhid.

All is working. When I set calibration in windows game controller settings, to default the signal is fine in mame. However the x and y axis are not all the way in the top left corner when frame out. This is no good because I need to point at the far left of screen and can not.
Why is the windows default calibration not finding the top left corner or full range of controller. If I select manual calibration I then can get the top left corner no problem, but the signal is not as clean as default.
So why can’t windows default calibration find the full range. Is this something anybody else has had issues with in the past. Any ideas?
