I bought an Arcade Legends machine that was broken The CRT was bad and the Chicago Gaming PCB worked half the time. I ditched all of it except the cabinet. I replaced the junky monitor with a Well Gardner and am building a MAME PC. This cabinet is not JAMMA so I am not sure the best way to wire it It has a slide out control panel so I wanted to use an IPAC for the control panel so I can disconnect it quickly via usb while keeping the wires close and neat. That is straightforward but I don't know the best way to do the CRT.
I bought a JPAC because its seemed the most straightforward to go from a GroovyMAME PC to the CRT. My question is what wires do I need to wire on the JAMMA harness since I am only using it for the JPAC. Do I just wire up the standard CRT wires and plug it into the JPAC or are there any other power/ground wires that must be connected on the JAMMA harness to an arcade power supply? I hope I am explaining what I am trying to do well enough.
