Battle Zone Physical roms
« on: March 01, 2004, 01:50:23 pm »
I was going out to dinner with the woman a year or so ago when i saw a full size upright battle zone, periscope and all.
the thing must have weighed well over 500lbs. it was raining and i was dressed up for dinner and driving a neon...
needless to say i could not rescue it from the trashman..i was however able to open the cab and pull all the EEPROMS(?) out of it.

anyone who has a battlezone cab who would like to have some backup roms give me a shout

Did you just pull the chips, or the circuit boards themselves?

I have a Battlezone.

Oh, and are you giving them away, or wanting to sell them? I'll take them if you are just giving them away, but I wouldn't buy them.

Im not looking to sell them.  ;D
There of little to no use to me and id rather see them put to use or be had as a backup for someone with a BZ cabinet.
It was raining out and i was hurried ,but im fairly certain i got everything out of the cabinet.
If i keep them they are just doomed to bit-loss.
id rather see them in the hands of someone they can help.
you pay shipping via paypal or something, PM me your contact info and  ill send em out here from the shipping dept in my work. its proboly like 3 bucks or something ,all of them together dont weight but half a pound..

they are in route. ;D
should be there before the end of the week.

on leg of one of the chips fell off when i tried to straighten it , so i just left the rest alone before i do more damage than good,i dont own a leg spreader.
these things have been bangin around for over a year now so they arent in the mint condition they were when i ripped them from their home..
a few of the longer ones look newer than the others,im thinking perhaps they were either NOS or flashed replacements.
throw me a line when u recieve em.
 :)

and PS dont worry about the shipping cost..
ill eat that for the delay..
