Author Topic: FS/FT .800 Token Mechs w/ tokens (Read 2784 times)

I have come into ownership of a fair number of .800 token mechs and tokens and thought I'd offer them here to any and all who may be interested. I haven't had a chance to test them all yet but I should have at least 10 working mechs up for grabs, possibly more. The .800 tokens, for those who don't know are roughly the size of a nickel.

I'm asking $10 for each mech with 150 tokens + shipping. I will ship via your method of choice. If you need more tokens I may be able to accomidate that as well.

As far as trades go, I've got a couple of Happ (either ultimate or Competition, I'll have to check) joysticks that are missing switches and the hardware that fits to the shaft, that I'm looking to complete for a project. I'm also interested in encoders of all types and PS -> USB converters (Preferably dance pad compatible).

PM me if you're interested and I'm sure we can reach an arrangement that works for both parties. I'll try to post some pics when I get home tonight.

It's not a bedspread, it's actually an ancient Pac Man beach towel I've had since I was about 8.

They're very easy to add to your coin door. They pretty much just drop right in. I have an over-under door, and it took me about 2 minutes to replace both.

AFAIK, Coin doors are coin doors. Post a pic of the back of your door and I'll try to give you pointers about how to replace.

Thanks for getting these to me so quickly. They work great.

FWIW, it took about 20 seconds to install these on my Midway door, and I had never done it before. They just pop right on the bracket.

The tokens say "for replay only" around the edge and "no cash value" in the center with a laurel design at the bottom on one side. There is an eagle/shield with stars around it on the other side (reminds me a lot of the type of design that was used on the back of US coins in the 1800s). I've also found a couple that have a clown instead of the eagle.

Yeah, what he said. The bulk of the tokens are brass as described above, but there are a few others k,ixed in here and there. Nothing that identifies a particular arcade, though.

Actually after going through them I've found about three that just say "no cash value" on the back and say "Alfonzo's" on the front. I assume this is the name of an arcade.
